•SETUP AND ACTIVATION:
The app is only trying to send when the "Waves" icon turns green. Until you have completed the set up process, the app will not activate. You need to make sure that you have entered the required information.

You need to have all of your personal information (name, email, phone number, with 1 before area code) and at least one SMS and one email emergency contact filled in.

•ACCURACY OF MAPS
Unfortunately, we have little control over the locations reported by the iPhone's GPS locator. It reports an initial location immediately that usually is refined and narrowed down over the next 10 to 20 seconds. You can see this in "real time" on the iPhone's Maps program.

•TEXT MESSAGE LIMITATION
Our software provides a free text message functionality to one emergency contact. We don't offer the option to message three emergency contacts because of fiscal limitations; we pay for the text messages ourselves. Because they are sent via your internet connection, not your text message account, we send them from our server. This is so that they get sent "silently" and without the standard message window that would alert onlookers.

This product works with iPhones and iPod Touches, but requires an Internet signal to work, and a location signal to provide your location. Anytime you're in cell coverage it should work. Anytime you're in WiFi (wireless internet) coverage, like in the basement of a computer lab, it should still work, even without cell coverage.

This product is meant as a communication aid. Community emergency numbers such as “911” are the recommended way to report emergencies. All app purchases are subject to iTunes End User License Agreement for Apps.
